"What makes LEO special is the way the coaches go beyond drills — they focus on true fencing tactics, decision-making, and strategy. They teach students to think like fencers, not just move like them. The growth we’ve seen in skill, confidence, and enjoyment has been incredible. Couldn’t ask for a better place for my son to train."

WHAT IS ÉPéE

Épée is one of the three competitive fencing disciplines. Épée is often considered more strategic discipline and requires fencers to be adept at technique, timing, and precision.

FENCING BENEFITS

Fencing enhances coordination, mental discipline, physical conditioning, and offers opportunities for competition and socializing. Younger fencers can gain opportunity to pursue fencing at the collegiate level.

who can fence

Everyone!

Whether you are 7 or 70, fencing is great exercise for both mind and body - and you are never too young nor too old to get started.

Is it safe

Fencing is safe when practiced with proper training and supervision. We prioritize safety, and fencers are required to wear protective gear and appropriate footwear on the fencing floor at the club and competitions.
